Over the past year, many customers have expressed concerns about rising woodwind pad costs. Wholesale prices have increased substantially—saxophone pads by nearly 300% over the past three years, and flute, clarinet, Oboe, & Basoon pads have almost doubled.
We were able to limit repair price increases for some time by purchasing a large supply of saxophone pads in advance, but that inventory is now depleted. Replenishing materials at current market rates requires us to update pricing for many of our repair services.
After reviewing pricing from more than 50 music stores nationwide, our updated rates remain on the lower end of industry standards. The new price list is now published on our website. All repair quotes issued before 11/23/2025 will be honored as originally quoted.
