This Vito Alto Saxophone, crafted in Japan by Yamaha, is the same model as the highly regarded YAS-23. Please note that the saxophone is sold AS-IS.
The instrument has undergone a playability check at our repair shop but did not receive a full service. We ensured that none of the pads have any rips, and the saxophone plays all notes chromatically from the left palm high F down to the lowest bell Bb. We replaced the pads on the low Eb, C#, B, and Bb, and also installed a new neck cork. However, we did not address any dent repairs. We believe this saxophone would be an excellent choice for a beginner or a player who may be a bit tough on their instruments. The pricing reflects its condition, and the dent in the bow does not affect the sound quality of the bell notes.
Blemishes include a dent in the bow and under the low C post close the low Eb key, dings in the neck, and two minor bends in the bell, of which are highlighted in the accompanying pictures.
